The Great White Mousse, King of the Clinic
Mousse has been in charge of every aspect of the Cat Care Clinic since his arrival back in 2004.
Mousse went over the Rainbow Bridge in 2015 but his spirit still lives at Cat Care Clinic. We are sure that he is randomly hanging up the phone and keeping a close eye on us while enjoying the sunshine in the window up there over the rainbow.
Kristin H. joined Cat Care Clinic in September of 2015. Her wide variety of animal experiences includes vet assistant, zookeeping, pet products, grooming and nutrition. Kristin has lived in Asheville for 24 years and currently has two cats, Ziggy and Zorro. In her free time she enjoys bird watching, gardening and cheering for the Carolina Panthers.
Amber joined us in 2018 after moving to Asheville from Atlanta. She enjoys working where she is surrounded by cats. She has four fantastic felines including 3 kittens she adopted from Cat Care Clinic.
Debbie has been a part of the Cat Care team since 2006. Originally from New York, she happily resides in Asheville with her husband, her guinea pigs, and her herd of fantastic felines. Debbie took to the road in 2017 to travel with the AcroCats, the wonderful cat circus that entertains people all over the country. When she is not on the road, Debbie fills in at Care Clinic and helps other cat owners through Asheville Cat Weirdos.
Lora Matte-Eckman, Veterinary Assistant, LVT
I have worked at an animal shelter in Florida as well as two cat-only practices. In Pennsylvania, I worked at a mixed veterinary practice and then moved to North Carolina. I got the amazing opportunity to work at Cat Care Clinic of Asheville and return to what I really love , felines! I live with my husband two wonderful cats – Fetus and BC (yes, that BC who lived at the clinic). I like to do anything outdoors and work in my garden.
